Booking through costco - cancellation? Requests? Character calls?

What is the cancellatin policy through costco? Is it the same as through disney.com?

Also, are character wake-up calls a part of all disney resort guests' stays? Or is it an added perk when you book through disney?

Finally, is it still possible to request a renovated room through costco or is it better to book through disney directly for that? Or is it all just by chance? (We are booking a deluxe view room for this July and DH REALLY wants a renovated room - he originally wanted GCH and I talked him into DLH bc of the new rooms - uh oh!)!

As far as canceling/booking through Costco goes - when you book through Costco, you are only going through their web portal but are still booking with the Walt Disney Travel Company. Same policies apply. My primary invoice came from WDTC.
