Hi there,

We've just made our ADRs for August but were unable to book the Gospel Brunch at the House of Blues because we have to book with House of Blues direct. I called them but got a bit confused by their phone menu, they seemed to want to transfer me to Ticketmaster to book. I'm calling from the UK so wanted to check a few things before I call them so I don't spend too much time on the phone.

Does anyone know

1.) How far in advance I can book the Gospel Brunch and do I select the Ticketmaster option to book it ?

2.) Is it a regular reservation or is a like a concert ticket that you have to pay for up front.

3.) What is the cancellation policy ?

4.) Has anyone used the DVC discount ?

If anyone can answer any of these questions or can give me any information about the Gospel Brunch I would be really grateful.

Many thanks,

Liam

Any information

It is a ticketed event that you can/do purchase in advance. It is probably easiest to go to hob.com, select Orlando and buy your tickets. Be sure to know the promo code for DVC members and you should be all set. You can likely buy them at he HOB ticket window once you arrive in WDW, just do what works best for you.

1. We booked the Gospel Brunch 7 months before our trip. It is very popular and I did not want it to be sold out. DH always wanted to do this.I booked the tickets thru Ticketmaster Canada and had them held at the House of Blues will call window for pick up.

2.It is like a concert you pay for it when you purchase the tickets.

3.Unless the event is cancelled there is no cancellations allowed. Once you have purchased the tickets they are yours. No returns, no refunds.

4. I di not use the DVC discount.

The singers are very good and the music was good as well. The food was okay. I am not a big buffet person and it is a very small area that they have the buffet set up in. The tables and chairs are very close to each other. The chairs are the flimsy fold up kind and not very comfy to sit in. DH was a little worried the chair would not hold him.(He is 230lbs) They are set up in tables of ten so you will be dining with strangers to make the party size of 10 people. After all was said and done I am glad that we experienced it but it is not something that I would pay to do again.
