Booking SW ???? How do I

get a lower price once I ahve booked? My cousin is booking now for July and I see the dings more often than her and would like to be able to call and get her the lower price when it pops up. what inof will I need besides her lfight info to get her money back to her card and not just vouchers or a credit?

You need the ticket confirmation number and her name exactly how it was booked. I have never heard of anyone getting cash back only credit to use towards another flight within 1yr from original booking date. Good luck.

I couldn've sworn I read on here somewhere that if you call to change it then they credit your card back. ???

Whether someone gets a TTF credit or a refund to their credit card depends on what kind of ticket was originally bought. Some of the tickets ARE refundable (seniors, full-fares, etc.). Some are not (internet specials, fun fares, etc.). If you have her Confirmation # and the name under which the ticket was bought, give SW a call and ask the category(I'm not sure if Travel Tools has that info listed).

this happened to us last year. I called SW and asked for credit and was advised that based on the ticket I purchased it was non-refundable and I would be given credit for future travel. I called again because the ticket was now half off what I paid and was told to call after travel and they would give credit as long as the flight was the same as the original scheduled. i called back and they issued the credit. i don't know if this is a one time thing but it isn't their norm and I wouldn't book expecting it, especially if a travel voucher isn't acceptable
