Booking standard view at BWV @ 11 months

I'm hoping to book a standard view studio at BWV for Easter week 2011. Has anyone had trouble getting standard view if they call first thing in the AM (@ 11 months)? If you had to waitlist, did it come through?

Is Easter a popular time for DVC? I know a lot of people travel then, but the points are so high. I hope a studio is okay for my family of 4 because I don't want to borrow points for a 1 bedroom.

I have tried to book a SV studio at BWV for early December 11 months out and was not successfull, but I did not call when MS first opened. If you call at opening, you should be fine, even for Easter weeks. Best of luck -- Suzanne

I've called for a SV for Jan and May and never have been turned down. But I called at the crack of dawn on the 11 month window. (technically the crack of when they opened).

I've never had a problem booking the SV when calling 11 months out at 9am.....I've booked in Feb,April,Aug,Oct and Dec...in various room types..studios to 2 bedrooms

As to Easter, it is one of the highest demand times for DVC but calling exactly 11 months out should likely be successful. As to a studio being fine for four, that is a matter of personal choice; size is large enough but still a close fit.

you need to call that morning exactly at 11 months.

lost a day in Thanksgiving because forget and called at 9am - 10 am MS time - they were gone. went on wait list and got it - but it was a several long months.

Anything is possible. My sister's waitlist for Standard View at Boardwalk just came through!!!!

She made the reservation 3 weeks ago for SSR and when she went online the waitlist had come through! Could have knocked me over with a feather!

This is my experience also. If you don't call right away though, it can be a problem. But calling first thing you should be fine.

We just stayed at BWV - std view Mar 20-27 this year and I called at 7 months and didn't have any problem. You should be good calling at 11 months.

I called 1/11 for 12/11 and got one of the last standard studios. I was shocked they went that fast.

Sorry...I was one of those that got to book ahead of you guys. I know that there weren't a lot left when I called for my 12/8-12/13 reservation...think I got one of the last standard studios.
