If I stay at SSR via a regular travel agent paying cash; is daily housekeeping included in this cost - or as its a DVC resort; does this come at an additional cost?

My friends and I are booking a two bedroom villa for two weeks for Apr. next year, and wanted details on this before we book in June.

Thanks!

If you are paying for the room with cash, you will get daily housekeeping like at any Disney hotel, even though SSR is only timeshare (DVC) units.

Hi Denise, thanks for that quick answer :-)

One more question -- is it true that some two bedroom villas have two Queen beds in the second bedroom as opposed to 1 queen / 1 sofa bed; if so - can these rooms (with the two queen beds) be put down as a request?

Yes that is true. There are 2 categories of 2 BR at SSR-dedicated which has 2 queens in the second bedroom and lockoffs where the second "bedroom" is really the lockoff studio portion with 1 bed and 1 sofa bed. I'm not sure when you book through Disney if they book both categories. When you call Disney to make the reservation you could ask. DVC members reserving with points have to reserve one or the other (it is a bookable category not a request)

I believe the cash 2 bedrooms are dedicated units. Verify when booking.
