Booking Southwest flight?

My fiance and I booked our honeymoon tickets through Southwest using points. We initially planned to do Disney and the Bahamas, so that's what our flights are currently booked for. We're now considering dropping the Bahamas portion and staying in Disney longer. I already noticed the return flight from Orlando has increased in price.

So, if I book the return flight from Orlando using our points, and we decide to continue with the original plan and go to the Bahamas, I can simply cancel the Orlando return flight and get all the points refunded to my account, correct? Or should we wait until we're 100% positive we're going to just do Disney before booking?

Not only are the points refunded, the 9/11 fees are refunded, too. However, Early Bird Check In is nonrefundable.

I have lots of points, so I go ahead and book every possible scenario with points. I dont cancel anything until a couple days of our trip. What I cancel just goes back to my account.
