Booking shows with Genie +

Has anyone booked a show like festival of the lion king or frozen sing a long as one of their genie + selections? Does it give you prime/reserved seating area like fast pass used to?

We did FoTLK with Genie +. As long as you show up early as they encourage, you will get a good seat. Not that really is a bad seat anywhere inside.

We did both of those with Genie +. FoTLK didn't seem like anything different - but we arrived right before the show started (after the official Genie+ window), so that may have been why. With Frozen they let Genie+ in first and seemed like they were filling just the middle seats with those people.

They let you into the holding area first or the theatre first at the singalong?

We entered FOTLK via the LL one day this week. They let both LL and stand-by enter at the same time, but direct LL to two specific seating sections, and stand-by to two different sections. The stand-by line was actually shorter than the LL line on the day/time we were there. Their was no advantage at all to using the LL entrance for FOTLK on the day we attended. But I would hope that during busier dates, such as during the holidays, they might hold back some seating from stand-by until close to show time, to insure that all guests waiting in the LL were guaranteed a seat.
