We are sailing July 10 and I was thinking we will soon be able to book shore excursions. Will we get something in the mail or can we do this online...if so, how? Where do you go to read about what's offered ?:mickeybar :mickeybar :mickeybar

Hi.....

We are sailing on the July 10 W Carr. Cruise too. I called DCL and was told that you can book the Shore Excursions 60 days from departure. All you have to do is call DCL for the resverations and you are charged once on the ship. You can go to the website and find the descriptions. We are still undecided as to which ones we are going to do. Would love to hear the ones you chose or if you have any suggestions. This is our first cruise and we are clueless!

Hi heather, we're going on our first clueless cruise in oct and before i read these boards was just going to book through DCL BUT after reading the boards realised i could do everything we wanted for a lot less $$$$ which meant we had more to spend on photos / souveniers etc. The most popular excurions companies on the boards are shoretrips.com , nativewaywatersports.com and captain marvins.
Have a wonderful cruise.

If you book through DCL make sure you book early and know that you can cancel up to 48 hours prior. You want to make sure your spot is reserved as the more popular excursions fill up fast. Haven't done the Western yet, but am looking at the Dune Buggies in Cozumel when we go in Jan 2006.

::MinnieMo Hey you guys, isn't July 10 the Eastern cruise ?? I sure hope so, cause if not I'm going to be in big trouble ! Virginia:confused3

::MinnieMo Just checked my reservations and July 10,2004 is the Eastern cruise. I think we're going to do Orient Beach on our own. There are plenty of taxis at the pier and no problem getting one back. There are 13 in our group, and I know we'll save $$$. We'll ask to be let off at Cocoa beach area. There are water trambolines, jet skis, parasailing, food&drinks, chairs&umbrellas plus restrooms. We can't decide whether to go to St John on the snorkle tour ( we're nervous about doing this on our own cause of the ferry...if you miss the one coming back you could miss the ship, too !!! ) OR go to Coki Beach next to Coral World for 1/2 day and do the mountain top tour and then shop in town. We've been to St Thomas several times and love to go to the mountain top for the beautiful scenery and the delious banana daquaries ( sp?).Also, some of us are thinking about the jet ski tour at Castaway Cay...but it is kinda expensive. We'll look for you on the ship !!
