Booking SDD Now @ 60+2

With the new DHS FP+ tiering, is availability for SDD at 60+2 (morning) more likely now for a party of 3? My FP+ window is almost here and I'm trying to decide whether to spend my first few seconds trying for SDD at 60+2 or trying to get 7DMT (morning) at 60+3. My other SDD day would be 60+6 for evening which I doubt I will need to rush to get but we've never ridden and are hoping to do so once in the morning, and once in the evening. TIA. (we are not getting any FP+ for 60 and 60+1 - hoping for better FP options if we hang out at the resort the first night and 2nd day.)

In my experience, no.
We just did FPs earlier this week. We did SDD at 60+3. Earliest I could get was 3:30 pm. Kept checking to see if anyhting else would become available and within 30 minutes, there were no FPs for SDD available that day. I have checked since then and nothing.
Once SWGE has FPs available, I think it will help.

When i did my sdd it was 60+2 for 6 and i did it first thing and only got late evening ones(my dates are end of September) however since then I have been periodically checking throughout the day and I have gotten all six to around 2 to 3 in the afternoon

We were trying for 4 people on 60+2 for Oct 12. No times available for the 4 of us until 7ish pm. Was able to grab a 4 pm for 2 (the kids). They can ride while we have drink or something.
P.S. - I easily grabbed RnRC for DH and I. We plan to swap bands and let the kids ride both SDD and RnRC.

thanks all! I guess I'll just plan on 60+6 and maybe get to ride sometime during the EEMH we will do on 60+2.

As of right now, SDD is at 60+1, SDMT is at 60. Keep in mind though that only means there's availability for at least 4 and who knows what the available times are. The trend I've seen in the last few days is for the window to be getting smaller for rides as we move into the mid October FP windows. I've been stalking for a time change for our SDMT so have been watching that window get smaller and smaller. A week ago SDD was at 60+3 so better than it was. 60+6 should offer you availability, but if you're time specific on your FP's, I'd get them asap when your window opens. The more flexible you are on times, the easier it's going to be.

When we did our FPs earlier this week, I was surprised that SDD was only later in the day at 60+3, but FoP was available early in the morning at 60+5.
Looking now at FP availability, the FPs for HS are not available for the main rides at HS, but still available for AK. An interesting twist on how it used to be. Not sure what to make of this yet.
I think it will be even more interesting when SWGE has FPs available and they change the tiers at HS.

I tried for SDD at 60+1, but none available. I did get it for 60+4 at 12:30 on our open day not the best time for our plans. If we’re able to go standby on 60+1, we’ll cancel that FP and not fight the crowds that Saturday. We were able to get FPs for our other days, but will have to RD some tier 1 rides at other parks.
