Booking rooms through Disney vs Agency

I've booked every trip I've gone on through Dreams Unlimited, and I was wondering about the stuff you get in the mail before the trip from Disney when you book through CRO. I've seen a lot of WDW luggage tags on the planes, etc. Any info?

Really depends on what you book. If you book through WDTC or a Disney Club package, then generally ship Luggage tags once you have pay for your stay in full. I know that when we booked through an agency one time, they fowarded this on to us after we payed.

I haven't got anything by booking through CRO ... but I know a friend who booked a package through WDTC and she got some cute luggage tags

The luggage tags come with the Dream Maker packages (or in the case of the soon to be defunct Disney Club, a basic package w/o tickets.) If you book a "room only" CRO reservation there are no luggage tags sent. This is the case whether or not you book directly through Disney or through a Travel Agent.
