Booking Room Only with AP or Shareholder discount

Does anyone know if you can book for someone else too if you phone to make a Room Only reservation?
We are thinking of going in May 2009 with friends, and we would be both shareholders and AP holders. If we wanted to book, eg, DCR would we be able to book and get a discount on 2 * 2-bed cabins?
And out of interest are you able to phone up and book for someone else ONLY, ie without making a booking for yourself?

I was able to book 2 rooms the other day . I didn't get any discount but thats because I've only got the fantasy pass, but I'm very happy with room only.
My mum and dad are coming with us they have got annual passes but I was able to book both rooms just giving my annual pass number.

I don't know if it's possible to book for someone else only though.

I would think so. When I got my first quote from them it was about 10% cheaper than I've actually had to pay. I think she'd given me the price for the dream pass and not the fantasy.

No as you have to be there in case reception ask to see your shareholder or AP to confirm entitlement to the discount.

This is strange as we booked DCR at Christmas, DCR at Easter and Cheyenne wk later although not all party had APs. They only asked for one AP number. We then bought tickets for those without AP. They didnt ask how many APs we had. Got good discount each time as well

Yet again it does seem like it depends who you talk to! I think DL might need to invest in a bit more staff training!
