In the past when we've been we've only ever booked a restaurant table on the day, is that still the case with places like the blue lagoon and California grill?

On our previous trips we have had no problems booking for the week when we arrived. This time we were quite specific about what we wanted and there were 9 of us so we phoned and booked in advance but for all but cafe mickey I don't think we really needed to:goodvibes

We were there last Thurs - Sun, I had booked Cafe Mickey before we left home (about a month before we went) as I knew we were going to eat there the first night and I am so glad we did as they were fully booked. The kids loved it there and wanted to go again Friday night which we hadn't booked but when I went to see if we could get booked in again they were fully booked for that evening too. Our friends were there the weds and i know they had the same thing happen to them so i would book if you know you definately want to go there, better than not and then being disappointed. If you are there for a Sunday I would also recommend the steakhouse Sunday brunch but again it's booking only and book for 12 as the characters are there from the start and as it's not busy til about 12.30 onwards you get avoid half hour of good interaction with them. Hope you have a good trip.
