Hi, I've just booked POFQ for 10 nights in July for my 2 daughters, my wife and I. I know it's going to be busy and I have been reading about needing to prebook dinner reservations. This is our first visit, is it necessary to book all our table meals way in advance or just those dining experiences - Cinderella's Royal Table etc.

This is our first visit and just trying not to mess up - but also don't want to be over regimented.

Thanks
Nick

Hi Nick, and welcome to the DIS!

July is a very busy time at WDW so my advice would be to book as much as you can as soon as you can. ADRs are free (with a few exceptions, such as Cinderella's Royal Table) and you can always cancel them later.

Enjoy,

Bob

July is pretty busy so you should make ADRs for your table service meals. When we were at WDW last June we noticed that every day we were at MK there was a sign posted saying that the table service restaurants were full :earseek: If the parks are really crowded you probably don't want to waste valuable park time waiting for a table. Have a great trip!

A lot of people make the mistake of thinking that if you schedule too many meals, you'll be too regimented. The problem is, that without the ADRs, you will have a hard time getting into sit down restaurants.

Don't forget that you can always cancel reservations that you don't want to keep once you get there. You can't go back in time and make the reservations.

Have a great trip! :smickey:

July is SUCH a busy time to go. If I were you, I would make ADRs for EVERY day of your trip. One table service meal a day. I usually choose dinner, but I do at least one breakfast character meal each time (usually Chef Mickeys). If you make a dinner ADR for each day, at least you know where you will end your day. If you are getting the Park Hopper, then you should be fine! And if something happens to your plans and you can't make your ADR, all you have to do is call Disney Dining to cancel. SO SIMPLE! It would be so horrible for you to be in the mood for Le Cellier, for example. Only to have you guys walk up and nothing is available for the entire day! THAT HAPPENS!!!

So go to Allearsnet and research the restaurants you want to go to. Make at least one ADR per day and keep a record of your confirmation numbers and everything.

CALL ASAP!!!!! You can now make ADRs as early as 180 days out. You're in the window!
