would you recommend booking tables in advance for this time of year? my last 4 trips to DLP have been in peak season and i've never had any trouble booking a table on the morning of the day we want a table. I'm not sure what it will be like in WDW :confused3

Even Xmas peak time we have no problem walking in or reserving same day in resorts but in parks many were booked up.
Problem is if you are wanting the very poplular places or certain times. If at all possible make ADR's it will be a busy with free DDP.
Even myself who is a big fan of offsite hotels and dining they have managed to tempt onsite this year so I can see it being busier than normal.

I would say yes and you can always try and change them when you get there but the popular restaurants (and that includes all character meals) get booked up in advance.

I like to book them as ~i like to have a plan. I think planning kind of extends my holiday into the dull non-disney world ;)

i love planning too! i'll get on to dbf about booking up restaurants this weekend! How far in advance can you reserve tables? i'm getting myself confused with DLP lol

oh no still a couple of months before i can start booking!
