Booking restaurants in advance

Hello! This is my first post so apologies in advance if it's wrong!

I've done lots of searching and seem to have found answers to most of my questions.

I just wanted to ask that when I telephoned to Pre book restaurants on a half board meal plan the operator didn't ask for any booking details, just my name and what restaurants what days and times. Is that right? I just expected to have to give a booking reference so the restaurant was forewarned we had vouchers. Also to get email confirmation incase I forget when and where we're supposed to be!

I have booked as follows, any pointers greatly appreciated!

Cafe Mickey Thursday eve 7.30 ( might change to earlier time, not sure why I booked so late with 3 young kids)
Hotels restaurant beaver creek tavern the Friday eve 6pm
Walts 6pm the Saturday night
Inventions 6pm the Sunday and last night (I know not on meal plan but can use vouchers towards the cost)

We made dining reservations a few days ago, and the didn't ask for hotel/reservations either (matter of fact, they never have for us) but did give us confirmation numbers for each. No email notifications either...you can check with hotel concierge when you check in and they'll have your dining info.

Before you order, your waiter usually asks if you have vouchers...if not, just show them and you'll be all set. Very easy.

Enjoy! Walt's is our favorite, we always spend our last night there.

The dining reservation line never ask for your hotel booking confirmation numbers etc, because they don't need them (anyone can reserve a table for a DLP restaurant, even if they haven't booked their hotel through DLP).

Its also perfectly normal for you not to get reference numbers for your table reservations, and you won't get any email confirmation of them.

You can ask your hotel, or City Hall, to print out your table reservations for you when you arrive at DLP though . If you don't want to do that, you can just give your name at the restaurant when you arrive to eat, as its your name that the table reservation will be under.
