booking restaurants if not staying on site

Hi

I was wondering if it is possible to book disney restaurants if you are not stayng on site. I know that you can book them up to 180 days before travelling if you are staying on site. What do you suggest is the best way to guarantee a restaurant reservation inside disney if I am not staying at one of the disney hotels?

You can still book each restaurant at 180 days out, even staying offsite. The advantage to staying onsite is that you can book up to 10 days at 180 days. Staying offsite you would need to call each day and there is the possibility you might have to be a bit more flexible with times/locations during busy times, as onsite guests may have booked the more popular times/locations.

Dining reservations are not tied to resort reservations at all. The best way to guarantee a dining reservation inside Disney World when you are staying off site is to simply pick up the phone and call them within 180 days of when you want to eat.

They will ask you where you are staying. "Off site" is the answer in your case. All you need is your home telephone number.

If only resort guests were allowed to make dining reservations, locals and others would be shut out. Big loss of business there.
