booking res for a family member

If I want to book a reservation for a family member and the want the dining plan do I have to use my credit card for the dining plan and collect the money for the dining plan from them first or can they use their credit card to book the dining plan

The dining plan has to be paid for when you add it to the reservation. Who ever you are making the reservation for can give you their credit card info and you can pay for it that way. Or you lay it out and have them pay you back.

They can use their credit card, but you need to call it in. I think if you use some one elses credit card, that card has to be in the name of some one on the reservation.
