booking/renting question?

Does anyone know about how far in advance I should book VWL and AKV savannah view?

We are talking about renting points for VWL in January and June for AKV. We've never rented points or stayed in a deluxe before.

general guidelines:

june is a slower period for DVC so you should be fine booking AKV-sav view at 7 months out.

january depends on whether it's a holiday (or race) or non-holiday period - if for non-holiday, i think you'll be ok at 7 months also. (if you are booking new year's, you'd need to book at 11 months out.)
