Booking question

Hi all. I have not booked yet for the free dinning but really want too before the resort I want is all booked up. The problem is my DH has to wait until the end of the month before he will know if he can get the week we want.
I was thinking of booking anyway, praying that we get the dates he wants, then if the end of the month comes and he is denied I can call and cancel witout penlity and get my deposit back or put it towards different days.
I also want to start making my ADR's as well before all my choices are gone from there too. The question is can I get my deposit back if I don't include the trip insurence and once I know for sure we are going can I call and add the trip insurence? We were scheduled to go last September and in Aug my DH crushed his arm in a forklift at work so we had to cancel.
We have to have the insurence but I know if I put it on there now I won't get that money back so that is why I was wondering if I can add it later.
Hope this makes sence. Also, sorry, but what is the number I call where you don't have to pay your balance until the day you arrive. I read it in Disney on a Dime but I can't find my book anywhere. Thanks all.

With the FD you have to book it with a certain amount days in order to get FD. Plus I think at least three nights stay. You have to pay it off by the 45days mark not at resort that is a room only. Call 1-407- 828-8101 to book. Yes you can add insurance later not when you book unless you know for sure if you are going

You can have Disney or your TA place a courtesy hold on your ressie. You would have to pay the deposit in 14 days and the balance 45 before you check in. If you wait until after the 45 days (44 or less) there are penalties involved depending how many days out you are.

Regarding the insurance, you need to add the insurance prior to paying the balance (45+ days).

I would make your choice rather quickly, since free dining fills up pretty fast.
