i was planning to book my cruise with a TA offering a decent OBC, but when I was looking at the DCL website options for the stateroom type I wanted were very limited so I booked it myself. I thought I read on here somewhere about being able to transfer to a TA within the first 30 days.

1. Is that possible?
2. If I do that would I still be able to log on to Disney's website to book excursions and activities myself when my window opens?

Yes, you can transfer to a TA, but it must be done within 30 days.

Also, most TAs reduce their OBC perks (if they have them), if you do this. Check with yours to see if they reduce theirs.

Yes, you can book your own excursions when your booking window opens.

You might not get any OBCs from the TA. Yes, you will be able to do all on board check ins, book excursions and activities yourself. You will be able to do everything yourself except change your room.

I did this once (not realizing our TA couldn't just "take over" the resi from DCL), but luckily, I was able to cancel out my own resi, and she immediately picked the rooms we wanted right back out of the system, and I also got all the OBCs from her as usual.
