Booking portofino w/expedia

I am trying to book one night with the PB because they are all sold out. They do have one room available and I was going to take it. However, on the bottom right before I book it says room size (I need two Queen beds) cannot be guaranteed or something to that effect. Has anyone ever booked with expedia and not gotten the beds that they need. A king won't work, we are a party of 4.

Not a bed problem..but another problem booking portofino with expedia.

I got a letter in the mail..arriving a day before the letter deadline..stating I had to call this certain number and confirm my (already prepaid) reservation, or they were going to cancel it.
I called and called the number..the line was busy, busy, busy.
I ended up calling a different expedia number..got through..they made me fax my signature, stating I wanted to keep the reservation. Man, was I ticked.

Keep in mind..when I made the reservation..there was a you go or lose all your money clause..no refunds..100% prepaid for all the nights I booked.

Needless to say..I will never use expedia again.

i wouldnt worry. if you needed a king sized bed, then i would say worry

have you tried booking at www.loewshotels.com ?
