Booking our first DVC stay in the morning for Jan 2012

Decided tonight to take DS16 for a Mother/Son trip at the end of January which will be our first time using our new DVC membership. Calling MS in the morning to assess studio availability. Deciding on BWV or OKW as our first 2 choices. We'll be going back in June with the whole family and staying AKL with SV.

Now- who is going to tell DS11 that he's not going to WDW??? That's not going to go over too well.

It's fun to call MS, especially for that first DVC reservation. No codes, no fluctuating prices. Just ask if the room is available and then you're all set. Enjoy your trip!

Sounds fun, You better leave some money in the budget to buy something awesome for the one left behind. Or may be tell him that just the two of you will get a SeaRacer on your summer trip.

I think I'd just point out to my 11yo that the 16yo only has 2 years to enjoy DVC before hitting college and he has 7. I wouldn't mention to either one that once they hit those college years the desire to go increases and there's a thing called spring break.
