Though I wouldn't be surprised if this night attracts more than its fair share of "plans unsure, but book now, and cancel later if we decide not to go" reservations.
Kind of in the same vein I guess, I had booked two studios at BCV since they seem to book up first, and then since I didn't have enough BCV left to do so I booked our two bedroom at SSR with the intention of trying to switch it over at the 7 month mark.
We are planning a trip with my brother and his wife, my son and his girlfriend, and my two brother-in-laws (they are a couple). Possibly even Grandma.
After reading through a ton of posts regarding the New Years time frame, I panicked and on the 31st I booked a two bedroom at BCV just for that night. By borrowing what was left of my 2014 points I was able to get that one night.
The thought was to spend New Years Eve at EPCOT and then we will at least have that room to sleep in, and not have to hassle with the bus system if we are unable to switch our SSR reservation over at the 7 month.
Now I am wondering if it is going to make it harder when I do go to try and switch our reservation over. I'm not letting that room go however. I hope our big group doesn't wind up in two separate resorts, but guess we will deal with it if that's how it turns out.
We really wanted the ability to walk to Epcot for this trip.
