My Mum wanted me to ask this....

She's heard that holidays to Disneyland Paris are cheaper to book online. Is this true? if so, roughly how much cheaper is it than going through a travel agents and is it worth it? It's for 3 nights 4 days

Thanks!

Hi Donna we booked our latest trip direct. It works out a little cheaper than going through an agent (about £25pp for the classic package). We only booked the rooms/park tickets through Disney though, if you want to book travel as well you have to phone them. Our ferry was through sea france and the combined saving was about £125 on the big agent brochure prices.
All will become clear when I post my trip report.

We always book direct with Disney and, as Steve says, book travel separately with Eurostar (or however you plan to travel). Some people however use a company such as Leisure Direction and find that cheaper.

You can book direct with DLP either online or by phone. Just be aware that if you book online, you have to pay the full amount straight away. If you book by phone, you pay a 10% deposit and don't have to cough up the balance until a month before your visit!!!

We booked direct with Disney, and got Easyjet flights for £40 each!! :Pinkbounc Definitely works out cheaper than the packages that use BA or Air France.

Total myth, the website gives the same price as a travel agent gets through their Disney contacts, theres only a difference if the travel agent quotes through Cresta, Leger, first choice or one of the other companies!

it would have been cheaper fo rus to book through Disney direct if we lived in london! otherwise travel costs add up... we could've got cheap flights with jet2 but they fly mid-day so we'd have lost a full day in the parks altogether.... so we booked a coach trip with a local company... take forever to get there but if we minus of the cost online of the accommodation and stuff we're only paying like £60 for travel and we get picked up about 5 mins from my house and taken right to the hotel....
