Hi :flower: I'm sure that this has been discussed before so forgive me, but is there really any difference between booking online vs. over the phone with Disney. I thought that online you had to pay all at once, but it doesn't look like that now. If you need to change your ressie that you made online, can you change it at all (like add a day etc.) online or by phone or are you stuck? Thanks for any help :)

Here is what is listed for my online WDW reservation:

In order to receive a full refund of your deposit, notification of cancellation must be received at least 6 days prior to your arrival date. To cancel or modify an existing reservation, call (407) 939-7429†. The cancellation and refund policy is subject to change.
Rate Revisions

Room rates are guaranteed as long as your reservation is not changed.

I believe that the telephone reservations have a more liberal cancellation policy. You also have more payment options when you book via the telephone (i.e. you can mail in a check for the balance).

My understanding is that on-line ressies require significant $$ to be paid well before your arrival date and that cancellation either costs you some $$ lost or you have to cancel well before the 6 days allowed via phone. All my ressies at WDW resorts, Swan and Dolphin included, involved one day's deposit off my credit card with a full refund for cancellations prior to a week before.
