Booking oct 2015

E are gonna take the plunge and book ten nights 21/10 to 30/10 I think to coincide with half term

Looking at Caribbean beach as we haven't stayed here before

What's people's thoughts on this hotel

We stayed at CBR in October last year and recently booked to go again next year. We are going 18-30 October.

You will see a lot of mixed reviews about CBR but we thought it was lovely. A really pleasant and tranquil setting, a lovely contrast to the parks, a great swimming pool and kids area and good food court etc and the staff couldn't be more helpful! I really don't think you would be disappointed booking there...like I said, we have booked to go again, so it can't be that bad! Lol

We are looking at similar time how much have you paid if you don't mind me asking?

We normally stay at okw but girls picked Caribbean beach, we live pofq but didn't like Coronado springs

We seriously considered Caribbean beach but with upgrade to ddp OKW wasn't much more.

I think the resort rooms are being renovated.

Pools looked great can see why it appeals

we are POR people through and through...but if I couldn't stay there I'd def book CBR (we don't like CSR either). We have not stayed there but have looked around it and took loads of photo's for somebody that was going to be staying there. I think its a really lovely resort and yes its spread out but there are bridges across to the main area and it really didn't take long to walk it. There is an internal bus but its quicker to walk. I liked the food court, it is very noisy in there with all the chairs scraping on the concrete floor etc but it had good choices. Loved the little quiet area's with palm trees and hammocks. The main pool seemed to be fantastic for little ones. If I gave POR a 10/10 then I'd give CBR a 9/10

We have just booked for oct 2015 and gone with Caribbean beach, we LOVE POR but thought seeing as cbr was £200 cheaper we would give it a try, if anything the pool looks fab and dd will be 6 next year and ds will be a few weeks off turning 2 so we will try it. We are going this October as well so we will pop into Cbr and take some pics/report back then
