Booking now, using PIN later?

Hi, I'd like to book my 2011 trip soon. I got a PIN for 2010 that I was unable to use - so I'm just wondering, if I book my vacation with the rack rate, if I get a PIN for 2011 by email later, can I just call and update my reservation using the PIN?

You sure can. For my Nov trip I originally booked a package for 5 nights and 4 day basic tickets. By the time I was done I was up to 5 day PH passes, DDP, and a 40% off pin. Yeah, Disney vacations sort-of just evolve into something different.

Yeup it's a possibility.

The one thing I would make sure to do, is to call as soon as you get the PIN. PINs have limmitted rooms allocated so if they run out you may not be able to get the exact same reservation as you already have.

Two years ago, I used the 4/3 deal, but had to change resorts because there were no rooms available for the 4/3 deal at POR.

This year, I got the 40% off monster pin code and was able to use it at POR.

So you may have to be prepared to change resorts on a code, if there are no rooms available at the resort you are presently booked.
