Booking now for 2014?

Just got back from our trip at the FW Cabins and had a great time! Thinking we will go back but try POFQ Sept 2014.

Question - when I was on the Disney site it only allows booking through the end of 2013, unless I am doing something wrong, so how are people booking trips for 2014? also, if i book now and room rates increase next year would i still be charged more?

I'm not aware of a place where 2014 rooms can be booked yet.

Ok thanks! I thought I saw some people talking about their 2014 trips (maybe just planning and haven't booked yet )

The rates for 2014 probably won't come out until this summer. I think you can call and book a room-only at 499 days out (not sure if Sept is in that time frame yet) but you won't be guaranteed a rate until they are released with the package rates this summer.

As the pp said, you can book room only 499 days out but you have to call. You will be quoted the highest rate for 2013 for that particular resort/room type and your reservation will automatically be adjusted once the 2014 rates are released. A deposit equal to 1 night's room rate + tax will be required, with the balance due at check in. New rates usually come out in August, but have come out as early as June/July the last year or two. If you want to book a package or want to book online, you will have to wait until the new rates are released. Keep in mind that if you book room only now and want to change to a package later, the room only will have to be cancelled/refunded and a package booked, requiring a new deposit of $200 (with the balance due 45 days prior to arrival) as money paid toward one cannot be applied to the other.
