Booking labor day weekend

Anyone ever have any lucky modifying your reservation for labor day weekend? I really wanted to book a poly studio, or any studio for that matter and September 3rd is booked up pretty good. Has anyone had a wait-list or availability come later? Seems like it's just that one day.

That day has been booked out at the near park resorts for a while. I didn’t get on until 9 months and couldn’t get my RIV SV or VGF deluxe studio for that night.
