Booking June 30, 2025 Question?

Is it normal that I couldn't reserve June 30, 2025 at a home resort until today (July 31) at 8am?

I thought the window should have opened on July 30, but I tried to reserve earlier last night and couldn't do it - got the message I'm too early. To the extent it matters, I tried late last night so it was on July 31, around 1am ET. I did not get a chance to actually try on June 30, it it was obviously after June 30...

Yesterday if you had the calendar open before 8:00 and tried hitting Continue at that point you would have gotten the message. You either need to hit search or press reload at 8:00 exactly (or later). If it is a hard to get room (BWV Standard, AKV Value, etc) then it is not usual June 30 would be taken.

ETA: Nevermind, I see you said you tried yesterday evening. In that case I don't know why it would have said you were too early to book for June 30.

It seems weird, but it looks there may have been an 8-hour window between 00:00 and 08:00 on July 31 during which you could not book a reservation checking in on June 30 and it gave the message you're too early. I definitely couldn't do it at 1am and tried at a couple of resorts just to make sure.

Is your planned reservation more than 7 nights? If so, that is the issue. You can only book up to 7 nights at the exact date. Try booking for 7 nights and see if it works.

Well, it's irrelevant at this point because after 8am ET today I had no issue.

But, to answer your question, it was for 4 nights, so not more than 7.

If booking June 30, 2025 was possible yesterday during the day (I did not try), then the issue seems to probably be just that 8-hour window between midnight to 8am where the system seemed to treat July 31 as if it was July 30, so it claimed I was early for a June 30 reservation (I tried at 1am ET).

I may try again on Oct 31 after midnight (with a reservation checking in Sep 30, 2025) to see if it happens again....

If I am understanding correctly, at 1 a.m. eastern on July 31, you went online and attempted to book June 30 as a start date and it would not let you. A possible reason for that is that the system was being updated and thus would not allow reservations to be made, something that occasionally happens between midnight and 5 or 6 a.m.

I suppose that's possible, but the message it gave me was that the booking window opens at 8am. It wasn't the dwarves or Stitch or anything to indicate a system issue.
