Hi,

How far in advance to you need to make your reservation for Minnie and Friends Breakfast ? Was trying to avoid a toll call from New Zealand so thinking I would book when we arrive? We do 3-4 days beginning January then tour around for 10 then back so if I did it when we first arrived it would be about 2 weeks out? Would this work or should I ring?

Thanks

If your dining day is after the 8th, days or a week will be fine.

One tip is if you don't have Magic Morning available to you each MM day . , do it on a morning that is an MM you can't participate in. Make the resovation for 10 minutes after the MM starts. This will be the earliest reservation available on an MM day. This way you aren't wasting park time while eating.

If you want to use that trick before the 8th, you will probably need to call before leaving to get that ideal time slot.

Great, thanks for the tip, we only have one magic morning so want to make the most of it so doing what you have said is perfect. Will plan it for after the 8th as well.

I already had a reservation for the breakfast on Saturday, but I called Friday to change the time and the CM listed off several times to change it to. The breakfast wasn't completely full either, so I'm sure even the day before you could call for reservations.

On a related note and to clarify - Will my family be allowed into the park an hour before it opens to enjoy the Minnie and Friends breakfast if we don't have a Morning Magic hour on our passes? And if we do but would like to use it on a different day, would I be able to "save" it? I'm not trying to steal anything I'm not entitled to, just trying to maximize our time. Thanks for any replies!

Yes. The gates will have a sign above that says, Magic Morning, Entrance(that is for regular guests), and then Character Dining. The character dining entrance is on the far left. You use your ticket, and check in on the reservation list. They give you your Minnie & Friends, breakfast button and directions to the Plaza Inn. Having your reservation is what lets you through that gate without a MM credit on your ticket, or using up an MM credit.

Personally, I would want to book now to ensure I had the date and time I wanted. We went to the breakfast on Sunday, Nov 20 with a party of 8 at 9:30 a.m. I booked about six weeks in advance and was able to choose the time I wanted. When we went to check in, many walk ups were being turned away and people were clearly disappointed. I could tell the place was booked for that morning. I don't know how far in advance other people had to book, but I was glad to have our spot secured. I like to have everything set in advance, but that's just me!:)
