Booking hotels with "citicash" or Citideals website...anyone done this?

Citibank's less than stellar rewards program does offer hotel deals at nice rates, but their confirmation pages say, "call us if you have any problems checking in,..." or something like that.

Is this an industry standard thing with third party bookings, or should I be worried?

Has anyone booked a hotel using Citideals?...what was your result?
