Hey DIS'ers! I have a question. I'm planning to arrive at WDW on November 2 really early morning. Can I book my hotel for November 1 and not arrive until early the next morning so we can get into our room? Does anybody have experience with this? Also if I were to book free dining and the last day is November 1 and we don't arrive until early on the 2nd would I still get free dining? Any info is greatly appreciated!!! :thumbsup2

Hey DIS'ers! I have a question. I'm planning to arrive at WDW on November 2 really early morning.

1. Can I book my hotel for November 1 and not arrive until early the next morning so we can get into our room? Does anybody have experience with this?

2. Also if I were to book free dining and the last day is November 1 and we don't arrive until early on the 2nd would I still get free dining? Any info is greatly appreciated!!! :thumbsup2

1. Yes, you would have to book a room for the night of Nov 1 if you want access to the room in the early hours of Nov 2.

2. It all depends on what time you physically check in. FD requires that you check in on Nov 1, but when discussing hotel rooms the Nov 1st check in day lasts until the computer system rolls over to the Nov 2nd check in day. This happens sometime during the night. You can check in as early as 6 AM so if you arrive after this time on Nov 2 you will no longer qualify for FD, but I don't know if this means if you check in at 5:59 AM you'll be okay or if the system already rolled over a little earlier.

Thanks so much. If what your saying is correct I don't think that will work for us. Our red eye wouldn't get in until around 5 am and then we'd have to take Magical Express to the resort. We would have to fly out on Halloween and my daughter really doesn't want to miss Halloween. Super torn as to what to do. These are the best dates for us. Maybe a stay play and dine discount will come out?
