I am looking at going October 8-13. I am wondering when is the best time to start booking everything! We are looking at staying in POFQ

POFQ is only rarely included in promotions, so if you want to book now you're unlikely to miss out on much in the way of promotions.

Last year, room discounts for that period were released in July. POFQ didn't have a discount, if I recall rightly. If there is free dining this year, that time period is generally blacked out anyway.

In sum: You can probably book whenever you choose.

Book whenever - I prefer as soon as I know I'm going. Should there be any kind of package or discount that applies (as the PP said, rarely does POFQ get included as it sells out on its own) you can almost always have that applied to your reservation.

If you are set on dates and resort, and going to pay the rates no matter if you have a discount or not, book now. No reason to wait at all.

I would book as soon as you are set on your dates and where you want to stay. Then keep watch for any promos that come out especially for moderates, although as most have said the moderates usually won't have a huge promotion. When a promotion does come out chances are that there will only be a limited number of rooms available and once those are gone they're gone.

Good tip! As soon as I get my bonus I am definitely going to book my room and tickets! I can't wait to go home!
