Can someone please tell me how many rooms you can book on one trip on one AP?...we are going in Jan 2005 and we will need 3 rooms...not sure if my one AP would help with all 3 rooms or not
We were told this summer at RPR that my ap could be used for our room, but not the one I booked for my mom during our stay. I could not do it with AAA discount either. In order to use my card for a room, I had to be staying in that room. We had 4 AP passes and 1 AAA in my family, but none could be used even though I was the one paying for and booking her room.
I booked both my room and my sis's room in my name also, but was told that I could only apply the AP rate to one room - that any room using AP rate had to have an AP holder staying in that room. Since I was the only person in both rooms with an AP, I booked her room through Hotelkingdom, which was the next best rate I could find. I did get credit for both rooms with Loews, though - and they had upgraded her pool view room to club level (which is what I had with AP) before I even asked at check in!
I reserved a room at RPR with my AP. A few months later I also booked a room for my mom using my AP. I explained that I would not be staying in both rooms. I was given the AP rate for both. My name was on both rooms. I also has DH and DS, both with AP's staying in my room. I offered to switch one reservation to DH's name/AP but was told that would not be necessary.
Wow, looks like this is another of those "depends on who you talk to" things. Would've been nice to run into someone who said something besides "no, sorry you can't do that" Oh well, at least sometimes it works right!
