Booking for Thanksgiving week

I am planning to leave the sunday before Thanksgiving returning the Tuesday after. Going to do a split stay for POFQ Sun-Sat, then 3 nights at the Poly from Sat-Tues. will not get concrete airline info from Southwest for a couple months. My question is should I book the resorts now since they are available or could I wait until May to book, will this still be enough time in advance to book a room for this holiday week? Just doing a garden view for the Poly and standard view for POFQ.

We are going the Sun before T-giving, then leaving the Wed before to drive up to my parents' house (we don't have kids and do short, marathon trips...must seem insane!!). We booked our room the minute an AAA rate was available, since we knew exactly where we wanted to be.

That week can be pretty busy, is my understanding...if you are pretty decided on where you want to stay and would be saddened to have to change (and can shell out the cash, of course), I'd book now.

I would book it now. We are arriving the Sat before Thanksgiving and leaving the Saturday after. We wanted the family suites, but when we finally booked it last week, they were not available. Got 2 rooms at POP instead. We are taking a niece this trip so there will be 4 kids.

You can always change the reservation later if you need, but this way you get what you want.
