I am the "trip planner" for an upcoming trip that my parents are generously taking our entire family on. What is the easiest way to book for multiple (in my case four) families? Everyone wants me to take care of the food reservations, hotel, packages, etc.

When I go with my family I do everything on line. Is it possible to manage everything for 4 families online? :confused3

Thanks for the help!

Are there 4 separate reservations right now? If so, I would recommend linking all of the reservations together. We did this with 4 families (27 people total) last year and it was a huge success when booking ADRs and Room requests.

We don't have any reservations right now. My parents are generously paying for the trip, and I would like to book everything as one reservation. The only problem is that as four different families, I'm not sure how to go about booking the dining reservations if we are all under one reservation. We won't be eating all of our meals together.

You will definitely want four reservations if you will be making different dining arrangements for each family.

Make the four reservations but make sure that the CM adds a "travel with" designation to the four accommodations. That will give you the best chance of getting the rooms as close together as possible. Still no guarantees as to proximity though.

Good Luck!

Right, last year a CM suggested that we "link" (term used by them) our reservations together but that didn't mean that we were now under 1 reservation number. Sorry if that sounded confusing. It adds a "travel with" option so that they can accommodate your full party as best as they can, of course nothing is guaranteed. We didn't eat all of our meals as 1 big party, in fact, there were only a few we ate all together. When we did eat together, our tables were always near each other (27 people clearly needs to be split up)!!

They also did an amazing job with the room assignments last year. 3 rooms at the Poly all Marina view in Fiji and same floor. The 4th room (my parents) was a theme park view (Tuvalu) so we knew they would not be in our longhouse.
