Booking for March '06

Hello all. I'm getting ready to book the POP for our Grand Gathering in March '06. I have AAA and my sis is a FL resident, so these are options for discounts we can apply later. (We'll be using 3 rooms, including one with sis in it!) From what I've been told, the best I can do now is just book the room at rack rate and then apply any discounts as they come out later. Will I be able to do this? AAA rates don't come out until Sept. and I"m not sure about FL resident rates. Is this the best way for me to go? I"m a little nervous reserving at such a high rate!

we're going in jan. '06, and we were told the same thing. CM told me i could book room only now at rack rate, and when i see a discount i could call and have the price adjusted. it is my resposibility to call though -- they won't reduce the price if i don't call. i'm assuming she is right.
