I'm considering using points to stay at Disneyland Paris next October... is there a booking window for this? How far out can it be booked?

1) I don't know if it is better to use points or cash.
2) It won't be that long of a stay.
3) Disney Studios was a MAJOR disappointment to us.
4) Disneyland-Paris can be covered in 1-2 days.
5) Now, we stay in London and take the Chunnel Train.
6) We stay one night at the hotel, then back to London.

we are in the same situation as you but for DL in CA. I have been calling MS alnost every other day waiting for points. You can book at the eleven month window if the points are listed. The excuse I have heard is that they can't asign points until rates come out. The DLP rates are delayed due to economic conditions and war. You need to wait until the points come out on the web site then call.

Good luck to you in booking you trip

We went last August using points. I would recommend staying for a least 3 nights. There is a lot to see and if you want to take it easy then 3 nights would give you the time. I really liked the studios, the shows were excellent. We actually stayed for 7 nights in the New York! I know far to long, we could have done with just 5 nights, but that was the only Euro service we could get. I think using points is a good way to go, the hotels can be expensive in the resort. We paid 40 pts a night for the New York and that included breakfast and all park tickets for upto 4 people. We tried to stay in the Newport bay, but that was full. The New York was really nice, but the other hotels are just as good. The budget hotels look horrible and I wouldn't stay there even if they were free! You can't get these on points, just as well! We live in the UK and much prefer Florida. We went because it is close and we wanted to see what it was like. I am not sure it is worth crossing the atlantic for though. If you were in the area, coming to Europe to see other things then yes have a look. Or if you wanted a nice base to also see Paris, then it maybe worth it. It only takes I think about 30mins on the train into the center of paris.

One point to though if you have young children, you may want to consider bringing powered milk. The milk they sell is long life and tastes vile. It gave my youngest really bad toilet problems. Also buy lots of water from the local supermarket ( 1 stop on the train).

I think a lot depends on when you go. I went in late November and the park and hotels were EMPTY! I bet I could have used points up to a very late date. I actually only spent one day in the park, but I saw everything since it was so Empty. (I have pictures and there is no one in the photos! I have never seen WDW that empty!)

I stayed at the Disney Resort hotel (whose name I forgot) that is right over the entrance. GREAT location, but very pricy.
