Booking for babies?

Just by coincidence, I checked prices for our family without including our (soon-to-be) infant in the guest count. I ended up with a completely different list of resort options for our dates. Many that were not even possibilities before have now showed up. I picked up that they were ones with beds for only 4 people. Since Disney doesn't "count" kids under 2, and they ask for ages in the booking info, I'm surprised I didn't get this list of resorts to begin with.

So...it makes me wonder...can I book a room with occupancy for 4 (for 2 adults, two kids 3&7, and a 4 month old infant)?? Do I need to add the baby later? How - by calling?

Appreciate any info and advice. Thx!!

It is a known glitch in the system on the disney website that they "count" infants as people. The chat people told me to book it with my two older kids, then call to add on our two year old.

This.

I searched twice yesterday with my infant included. One search was glitchy and one was not. It scared me at first! But now I know to search without him and add him later!
