Booking for August Price Jump in two days ...argh

Hi so I was online the other night (Tuesday) and was going to book a one night stay at the Boardwalk Inn for August ... using the discount available through Disney, I was given a price w room and tickets for one day no park hopping of 457.46 i figured this was a good price for a Deluxe resort plus tkts even for one night but then got caught up with other things and did not book that evening. When I came back on to finally book (Friday night), the package priced went from 457 to 553 ... WHAT! that almost a 100 increase. How is this possible? Is the norm, is it bc it was a tuesday vs. friday? should I call with my original quote will they honor it. I dont think thats fair at all. any advice on what to do.

Friday and Saturday nights are more expensive at all resorts now. However, I just went to the WDW site and plugged in a Tues night stay as well as a Friday night stay..they were both $467...with a one day park pass. But, that was just for one person for that one night.

Did you make sure everything was the same? The system has a habit of automatically adding the hopper option, an extra day in tickets, or insurance, or pricing a higher room category. But also, availability changes by the minute, so your original room type that was available on Tuesday might not have been available on Friday . I'd price it again and make sure everything is the same as there shouldn't be a price difference if your original room was still available under that discount.

Thank you Tink for your research and help, but what I meant was that I sat down to find a quote on Tuesday night and then again on Friday and was given different numbers. But great news .. I checked my email b/c I asked for a quote from Dreams Unlimited and they gave me a quote for the original $457.46!!! woo-hoo now I'm all booked phew...
