Booking for 2007?

When does Disney open up their 2007 dates? Will I be able to book for Nov. 2007 next week when it's the new year??

T.I.A. for anyone that can answer this for me, I have o.c.d. when it comes to planning & want to *book* as early as I can.. Also if you book and already have a ressie & a "deal" comes out, can you call & get the better rate??

I believe the new rates are posted around May/June the previous year. I understand your anticipation though, and I think that you can book earlier through disney but you would not have a confirmed room rate because the rooms increase in price every year. I began planning my next vacation (Jan 30-Feb 9/06 at CSR) over a year ago. I haven't even been on that one, and I'm already starting to think about when I can go again. DH and DD (17)are tiring of this and say I'm obsessed. DH isn't even going on this trip, just me DD and DS (11). So maybe the next one will just be me and DS. Pretty scary isn't it?

I think it's 500 days. Like previous poster said, you don't get a confirmed rate until rates come out. If you book a room-only, you can change at any time if a deal comes out because the cancellation policy is 5 days. If you book a package, you have to be careful because I think it's 45 days for cancellation. Also, you have to be flexible if deals come out, because there might not be any rooms available that you want for the deal to benefit you. Does that make sense?

I'm waiting to book our May 30- June 7, 2007 trip. "tjmouse" is correct my AAA agent said we can book 500 days out, so for my trip that's January 14th. I'm booking "room only" on that day and then changing to the Magic Your Way w/ Dining when Disney begins booking 2007 packages. My agent said that should be sometime in June.
I'm like "chip91" I like to book my room as soon as possible. I just feel better if I know I at least have my room. Besides there's nothing else we can do this far out but wait! The waiting is horrible I might add.

I called this # yesterday & asked when I could book for Nov. 07, the CM I talked to was very nice (and patient b/c she probably thought I was nuts asking that far out!) She said right now (1-1-06) they are booking thru May 14, 2007 so she told me I could call back in about 3-4 months and I should be able to get a rate..
