Booking Excursions

So this may be a dumb question but I just booked the Atlantis Aquaventure excursion for our cruise at the end of July. It is showing up with the times and everything in our plans but I didn't have to pay for it.

When do you pay for these excursions?

They are billed as part of the on-board ship charges for the day the excursion occurs, just like buying something in one of the stores or having a drink at the bar. You pay for them the same way (e.g., putting money on your shipboard account in advance, putting a credit card on file for the charges, etc).

Oh gotcha! Makes sense I guess that you wouldn't want people paying for excursions and then refunding them if they don't happen!

How do you set what card you want used for on board purchases? Is this something that can be done online?

Yes, during the online check in process it gives you options regarding paying for onboard purchases and you can add your credit card information there.
