Booking Disney Resort on Travelocity

Has anyone every booked a Disney Resort on Travelocity?

The reason I am asking is that I have been checking with CRO on a daily basis for a discounted rate in May at the Beach Club.

I noticed today that Travelocity has a discounted rate for the BC for the dates I have been attemtping to book.

If I book with Travelocity, I make a request for a specific room location or would I have to call CRO and make the request?

Anyone had any problems with booking a Disney Resort with Travelocity?

Travelocity is geared toward an inclusive package: room + UPH tickets. If that's what you want and they have a good rate, then why not. I tried this once for a room only reservation and wound up going in circles. Watch carefully as you go through the process to see if the price doesn't suddenly spike as your park tickets are automatically added on.

Something else to consider is when you will be arriving/departing. If you want to trim the arrival or departure day off of your UPH tickets to save a little money, can you do that for tickets bought through Travelocity? Find out before buying.

AAA has discounted room rates, and good Disney-savvy travel agents like DU here should be able to get you as good if not a better rate than Travelocity, room only or inclusive package. And help with special requests or needs. As always, YMMV.

You put in whatever requests with Travelocity. If you call CRO to attempt to add requests- sorry, they won't pull up the reservation for you. Travelocity and WDTC are two seperate travel agencies, so any questions/concerns/requests must be made with Travelocity directly.
