Booking Disney resort by Phone or Website

Is there any difference booking Disney Hotels either directly over the phone or using there website?

Yes, when you book using the internet the whole of the balance will be taken from your debit/credit card, but if you pay over the phone then you just pay a deposit. The rest is then taken closer to the holiday.

Also you can book transport packages with your holiday by the phone, you cannot do this on the internet.

Please note that if you are booking very close to when you are travelling by phone they will require the whole amount.

Do you know how close? I want to book now for Feb 11th and it would be better for us to pay a deposit and then the total after Xmas. Lots of expense this next month!

I've just looked in the brochure and it says the balance of the holiday will be taken 60 days prior to departure. So obviously if you are booking with less than 60 days to go then you will pay the full amount.
