Booking Disney Express separately

Does anyone know how you book Disney Express if you've booked your hotel package & Eurostar separately?

Also.. would you? We get in at approx 2pm local time and we're staying at the HNY. I know it's not much of a walk from the station, and the massive long queue to collect our baggage for the train home made us almost miss our train, so I don't think we'd bother for the return journey. But if we DID have Express on the way in we'd be able to go straight in to the park!

We added it onto our booking separately, we just rang the normal booking line and they added it on. We were in two minds about it, too but we are so glad we did it. There is just no better feeling than being in the parks just a few minutes after arriving!

I just call and add it on to my booking, as I always book my Eurostar and hotel separately.

Not sure if we are going to use it on our next trip as we arrive at 2pm and are there for 6 days so might just stroll over to our hotel. But we will be using the Disney Express service on our last day as it's cheaper and they charge you by the room and not per person.

But in the past we have always used it as they come and find you on the train and give you your tickets and hotel form and park maps. All you then have to do is drop your bags off and then head stright to the park.

Thanks.. you're tempting me Does anyone remember how much it is, and can you book it just one way? I definitely think that being able to go straight in to the park from the train was a high point last time but we were at the Santa Fe then!

Its £16 per adult I think, and I'm pretty sure you can't do it one way, but it is definitely worth it IMO

Out of interest, I have seen people say about long queues to collect before, in September we just walked straight up to the desk. Is it more seasonal or just because we got their early? Because I was worried about long queues I think we got there somewhere around 4.45-5pm.

It was March when we went, a Sunday night so perhaps that had something to do with it, but it was awful!

Your trip is very similar to mine! I booked eurostar and hotel separately - staying in HNY - think I arrive a few days earlier though.

I'm planning on adding Disney Express too, I was told by the lady on the reservations line that it could be added on anytime up to the day before departure. Planning on doing it soon though.

Just one question for those of you who've used it before - do you need to tell them your seat numbers when you book it? So they know where to take your tickets?

I booked it separately for January, how do you get the luggage tags? Do they send them, do you pick them up, do you just go to the DE desk? So many questions.

I thought you could do it one way? We've done it although it was a few years ago now it's a lot cheaper and per room. We did it so we could just go straight into the parks on our last day had no problems with queues picking the luggage up. We've also just used the lockers in the station that's also very easy. Hopefully somebody on here has done it more recently and has up to date info.

We did it one way last year - we were staying at the SL and decided on the last day that we didn't want to waste valuable park time by going back to the hotel to get our luggage from storage and instead arranged for it to be taken to the station. Think the cost wad either ¬10 or ¬11 per room. It was money well spent (especially when you consider that we actually had 2 rooms but they only charged for 1) and we'll be doing the same in February

A CM comes along the train and hands you your pack which contains your luggage lables, park tickets, hotel registration form, park maps and meal vouchers if you have booked them.

We have never had any problems collecting our bags. We normaly arrive at the station between 1hr to 45 mins before departure which gives us plenty of time to collect our bags and go through security.
