Booking dining reservations for DW stay

Hi all,

We will be travelling to DW in a few months and will be staying on property for 10 nights at AOA and another 4 nights at The Contemporary.

I understand that the window for booking restaurant reservations opens 60 days prior to our trip and staying on property I can book our reservations for the first 10 days of our trip.

My question is what happens with the rest of our trip? When will I be able to start booking for my 11th day and on?

You’ll have a new 60 day window there.

At 60 days from AoA checkin - you’ll be able to book that whole stay.

Then 10 days later your window will open for CR, and you can book all of that 4 day stay.

WDW really should change this.

The good news is that prebooking LLs won’t make you split like this. You’ll be able to book your entire WDW stay at 7 days out.

The better strategy is to book those reservations toward the end of your AoA stay.

The AoA checkout day will be your 11th day? Even tho that will be your check in day at CR it’s still linked to AoA, because it’s checkout day there. That day will open the day after your 60 day mark. So I would book the hardest to get ADR you want for your CR stay then.

Sorry, it sounds confusing typing it out, hope you understand what I mean.
