Booking by phone - what do I need to provide?

I'm Silver and will be calling Wednesday morning. It's my first time booking over the phone (I've always done it online in the past) so what do I need to provide? My castaway id # obviously but do I also need to provide the castaway id #'s of everyone else in my cabin?

Also, which is the best number to call - the generic number or the dedicated number for Castaway Club members? Thanks!

You only need one castaway club number, if everyone is in the same room. And I'm not really sure you need that. DCL is pretty good about associating names with the correct CC number.

For the early bookings, I believe the only way reservations are being accepted are on the phone number indicated. Not the Castaway Club one.

Thanks Shmoo!

AquaDame posted the following numbers in the opening day prices thread:

"Numbers to call: 800-951-3532; 800-951-3532; 888-325-2500; 888-325-2500; CC #800-449-3380; 800-449-3380"

So I'm guessing 800-951-3532 is the number to call.

No, that's not the only way. I made my reservation today through the Castaway Club phone number for one of the Bermuda sailings.

And to be clear, if you want to redeem a placeholder that was given to a TA, you have to have your TA phone to make the reservations, right? You can call and get info, if you want, but to use the placeholder, the TA must make the call?

Cool beans. Well if I don't like the hold time on the first number I call I guess I can call the next number using my cell phone and then see which line picks up first ;-) Might mean juggling two phones....haha, that seems a bit much

That is correct. If you have already transferred the placeholder to a TA, the TA must be the one to handle the booking for you. You can get information, but don't bother placing a hold as the TA cannot "pick it up" or apply it to a placeholder.

Enjoy your cruise!

That's exactly what I did. I just put them both on speaker. The CC line picked up first but I figure it's because I dialed it first before calling the non CC number on my cell.
