Booking buffet restaurants

I've been a reader of this forum for a number of months but this is my first post, so... should I make a reservation for the buffet restaurants (Plaza Gardens, Agrabah Cafe etc) before leaving home?

When booking I went for the half board standard option because the vouchers could be used in the buffets and when we went in May we found the buffets the best option with our two year old.

Should I book before hand or risk it when we get there? We arrive on the 16th November and can't wait!!! If we stick to the buffets, we'll probably go for the Chuck Wagon at the Cheyenne (out hotel), Plaza Gardens, Agrabah and Rendez vous des Stars. What do you think?

Thanking you in advance

If you know where and when you'd like to eat, you can call the Dining Reservation number and reserve a table without paying anything in advance. But you should also be okay to reserve your tables etc a couple of days beforehand, either at your hotel, or at City Hall in Main St USA. You won't need to book for the Cheyenne, as you are not seated by a waiter there - its a buffet and free-for-all for a table :rotfl: . I believe you can't book in advance over the phone for Rendezvous des Stars either, but you can at City Hall.

Elaine, when I went in October we ate at the Cheyenne and were not seated by a waiter but still made a reservation for the buffett.

They had two seperate queues when we went, one for those with a reservation and one for those without.

So although we were not seated by a waiter you could still reserve and I'd even suggest making a reservation in order to avoid a longer queue
