Booking Aulani Questions

We are new to DVC...just purchased in Feburary and are planning our first DVC trip in May. We are looking at Aulani but since the flights are so expensive and we have enough points, we are hoping to stay 14 nights. When I try to view the availability, it says that I must change the number of nights. I think I read somewhere that you can only book 7 nights at a time. Is this correct? If I want 14 nights, can I make two reservations? I'm not sure what the next step should be. I thought I'd check here before I call with my questions. Thanks!

If you are trying to book right when your booking window opens, you can only book 7 nights. For longer stays, you can book the initial 7 nights and then call back daily and extend the reservation by one night. You would need to call to extend the reservation as the on-line reservation system does not allow modifications.

The on-line reservation system will allow you to book a 14 night stay, but you would need to wait a week to book your reservation. The problem with doing this is you may not be able to get the all of the days in the first week depending on how busy the resort would be that time of year.

Thanks! I'll book the week and then try to add. Can I book one week and add 7 extra nights the following week rather than calling each day?
